BioSkryb Genomics, a venture-backed early-stage biotech company, seeks an energetic, focused Project Manager to join an exciting, fast-growing, and well-financed company to introduce new products by managing projects spanning all areas of the business. The project manager will be expected to deliver projects that meet requirements on time and within budget. The individual will help lead the development of new products through coordinating cross-functional teams, including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and reporting on project progress. The ideal candidate would have extensive project management experience, brought new products to market, and have knowledge and experience in some aspect of single cell biology, next-gen sequencing, and/or cancer genomics.

BioSkryb Genomics is leveraging our proprietary ResolveDNA™ technology, which enables robust and even amplification of DNA, to bring unparalleled accuracy and single cell resolution to a diverse set of applications, including neuronal disorders, pre-implantation genetic testing, bacterial genomics, and cancer genomics. The team is rapidly growing, having recently moving into a new 20,000-foot headquarters in RTP. Responsibilities

  • Work with leadership to define project scope and objectives
  • Lead a cross-functional team of experts to complete projects that meet deliverables on time and within budget
  • Coordinate activities between research and development, production, operations, quality, marketing, data analysis, sales, and business development
  • Determine the resources (people, time, money, equipment, etc.) required for a project
  • Create a project plan including project milestones, resources, deliverables, and timelines
  • Summarize project status for leadership and relevant stakeholders
  • Develop relationships with and leverage a diverse group of experts, maintaining an awareness of competing responsibilities
  • Identify and monitor project issues and risks; mitigate as appropriate
  • Engage and lead external resources when appropriate
  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
  • Identify opportunities to improve product development and other internal processes and drive their implementation
  • Coordinate and lead phase gate reviews

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years project management and problem-solving experience
  • 2+ years relevant experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, chemistry or biology
  • Knowledge of New Product Introduction Processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Superb organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong working knowledge of project management software and Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification
  • Experience leading cross-functional product development teams
  • Knowledge of quality systems, including GMP, GLP, CLIA, and ISO 13485
